To And From The Airport

By Train ($15.40)

A private train line operates an every 8 minute service to Central Station from the International and Domestic terminals. From Central Station transfer to the Inner West line on platform 19. Newtown is 5 minutes from Central (3 stops).

From Newtown station turn right and follow King Street until you reach the 7/11 convenience store on the right hand side. Egan Street is on the opposite side and we are located just 50 meters from the corner of King Street.

By Taxi ($25-$30)

Billabong Gardens is a short 15 minute ride from the Airport. Be sure to have the address ready for the driver when boarding the taxi and let it be known you expect the fare to be no more than $30!

To and from the City by bus, train or walking

Circular Quay, the Opera House and the city are within easy reach from Billabong Gardens. Bus lines 422, 423, 426 and 428 stop in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. There is a bus every few minutes.

Alternatively Newtown station has a train 4 times hourly to Circular Quay. For those who like to walk, Central Station and Darling Harbour are about 30 minutes and Circular Quay about 50 minutes on foot.

Beaches

A direct bus (370) services Newtown twice an hour to and from Coogee Beach. Bondi is about 30 minutes on public transport. Ask reception for details and maps.
